Dear Parents,
We are very excited to have your child join us for summer camp at the Ashram -- just a few more weeks and all the fun activities will begin! However, before we forget, we'd like to bring a few reminders to your attention:
1) Please bookmark this summer camp blog. All announcements, schedules, and camp contact info will be posted here. Also, our teenage volunteers will be submitting daily updates of the children's activities and photographs -- so, this will definitely be a fun blog to visit on a regular basis.
2) We request that you purchase two books for your child's learning this summer. One is "My Prayers," and the other is "Chinmaya Book of Vedic Chants." We will be using both texts throughout the summer, and they will be available for purchase at the camp. "My Prayers" is $5.00 and "Vedic Chants" is $10.00.
3) Please make sure that you have submitted the Emergency Contact and Health Form on or before the day your child begins camp. This form can be downloaded and found on the left side of this blog (under "Camp Schedules, Guidelines and Forms".)
4) Be sure and read "Things to Pack and Bring" (click here to view.) We certainly want your child to be as comfortable as he/she can be!

We know your child is going to have a wonderful and rewarding camp experience -- and we are really looking forward to spending a fun summer with them!
